Journalling apps have no people. Matching apps have no depth.

A notes app never answers you, so the habit dies in a week. Swipe apps go the other way: they reward the best photo, not the most honest person, so profiles turn into small advertisements and filtered pictures become normal.

iFeelYou puts the two halves together. You keep a real journal, and the people you are matched with are the ones whose words sound like yours; same language, near enough to meet, carrying something similar, working toward something similar. No photos at first, no public profiles, no numbers to grow.

No faces, no names.
Nobody sees a photo of you until you choose to share one yourself. Real names stay locked until both people agree to unlock them. You are read before you are seen.

Nothing to accumulate.
No followers. No likes. No view counts. No leaderboards. There is no number attached to you, so there is no number to grow.

One reflection a day. One.
Everyone writes the same amount. You cannot post more to be seen more, and posting less does not push you down a ranking that does not exist.

Your words are not public.
Nobody can read your daily reflection unless you are currently matched with them. There is no audience to perform for.

The part that makes journalling actually stick.

Most people quit journalling because writing into nothing gets boring. Here the page is still private and still yours, but it is also the thing that decides who you meet; so showing up has a point beyond willpower.

It is not a post and it has no audience. Nothing is public, nothing is counted, and you choose whether the people you are matched with see today's page.
